  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include but not limited to the following.

    • Process and technical documentation updates (operator instructions, guides, prints, etc.)
    • Support Engineers in trouble-shooting specific problem areas
    • Communicate and work effectively through specific task assignment
    • Analysis and decision making responsibility for specific problems or topics
    • Improvement proposals and execution of such as supported by analysis
    • Change management projects
    • Debug and implement process improvements of assembly or manufacturing line controls
    • Design and optimize automated equipment concepts
    • Assists controls engineers with design of vision and robotics system upgrades
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

    Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree from a 4 year university and be actively enrolled for the duration of your co-op.

    • Ability to rotate back at least every other term for at least 3 rotations preferred

    QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCY:

    • Knowledge in, understanding and capable of programming in PLC language, i.e. (LAD) ladder diagram, (CSF) control system flowchart, (STL) statement list
    • Knowledge in, understanding and capable of programming in high level language, i.e. C/C++/C#
    • Knowledge and understanding of network and PC hardware and interfaces
    • Problem Solving
      • Strong analytical and intellectual skills
      • Competent use of systematic problem-solving tools
    • Communication Skills
      • Effectively communicate with different levels of associates and cultures
      • Ability to work with workshop personnel
    • Self-starting, results oriented, flexible, team player
    • Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
    • Meet deadlines on assigned tasks, utilize project timeline tools, effectively communicate goals and results
