Job Description

Bosch Global Business Development is an internal expert consulting service. Together with our clients in all business sectors, we strive to develop inspiring new products and services. Therefore, we apply modern methods and approaches in both innovation as well as market intelligence. This role will support the Bosch Global Business Development Team in the U.S. in two areas:

1. New business studies and development projects, especially with

• Systematic market screening for technologies, startups, companies and potential partners for specific search fields and requirements
• Customer segment and competitor market analysis
• Market size evaluations
• Support in evaluation and development of business models
• Communication with external and internal partners
• Creation of documentations and presentations

2. Business development support for a novel IoT ecosystem in digital agriculture

• Develop business opportunities for a novel IoT ecosystem in digital agriculture
• Identify partner opportunities and use cases for digital services and prioritize based on market/partner needs
• Support with stakeholder management, including agreements, presentations, and coordinate with internal teams
• Assist with developing and implementing go-to-market strategies and marketing campaigns
• Monitor and evaluate industry trends, attend tradeshows and industry meetings, network

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master studies preferably in the fields of Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, or Information Technology
• Experience in technology, customer, and competitor market research
• Interested in innovative methods, technologies, processes
• Strong communication skills, good analytical thinking, systematic, team worker, flexible, creative
• Working style: independent, self-sufficient, motivated, entrepreneurial mindset.
• Good Microsoft Office knowledge (Excel, PowerPoint)
• Fluent in English

PREFERRED

• Prior experience in agriculture or strong willingness and interest to become acquainted with digital agriculture
• Experience with platform business and cloud-based digital services
• Knowledge of German a plus, additional languages welcome
