    Job Description

Bosch Automated Valet Parking (AVP) is one of the only certified SAE Level 4 autonomous driving systems in the world.  AVP allows the parking infrastructure to safely guide vehicles autonomously to their spaces and park them, offering convenient parking options to our users and new value streams to our customers.  We are looking for an enthusiastic software systems application engineering intern who has a passion for autonomous driving to join our team and help us to scale our operations in North America.

You will be involved in the complete setup of the demonstration AVP system at our testing facility at the Detroit Smart Parking Lab. This includes supporting the software engineers and application engineers in setting up both the hardware systems (servers, switches, camera and lidar sensors), and the software systems required for SAE L4 autonomous driving. You will also participate in local development and extension of AVP capabilities as well as performing sensor trade studies and data analysis.

We work in a hybrid working environment, meaning that our team works from home, works from the office, or works from the lab as needed to get our work done.
