Job Description

As a data engineer intern at the Bosch Center for Artificial Intelligence, you will be part of team which develops and operates data pipelines for over 800 assembly lines worldwide. In this role, you will get hands-on experience with:

• Migrating data pipelines from on-premise to Azure
• Tuning and hardening of existing Apache Spark modules
• Migrating modules from Apache Hudi to Databricks DeltaLake
• Developing extensions for existing Apache Spark modules
• Working with agile and test driven development

Qualifications

Required Qualification:

• Degree Level: BS or MS in Computer Science or other engineering discipline
• Very strong programming skills in Scala, Java or Python
• Good communication and team working skills

Desired Qualification:

• Experience with distributed systems
• Experience with Apache Spark
• Experience with Apache Hudi/Databricks DeltaLake
