    Job Description

    SUMMARY: Support effective and efficient use of BES-PE (Bosch Engineering System - Product Engineering) within projects, support managers in implementing a sustainable Product Engineering mindset.  Engineering Process Expert to contribute to product engineering such as process development.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBITLITIES include the following:

    • Project Management process expert in Automotive Steering division with global responsibility
    •  Enhances the overall performance of the process by driving standardization and improvement of product engineering and project management
    • Process expert supporting effective and efficient application of BES-PE (Bosch Engineering System - Product Engineering)
    •  Provides guidance for development process
    •  Apply Product Engineering  approaches and methods suitably adapted to the project specific tasks.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or project management or related field
    • 5+ experience in project management, product development and/or change management
    • Presentation skills (i.e., PowerPoint, Keynote, Prezi)

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • High organizational skills
    • Professional intercultural communication
    • Experience in process definition and roll-out incl. methods and tools
    •  PMP certificate
    • Master’s Degree: Engineering or M.B.A.
    • Basic Product Engineering Training (PE002 or PE003 or PE-INT)
    • Proven application of all 6 Product Engineering elements (RE, Structuring, FA, MCR, PCD, DFR) in projects with supervision of a Product Engineering Coach (adequate mix of online/offline support)
    • Experience from hands-on DRBFM practice, directed by a DRBFM Expert (at least “level 3”, ideally “level 4”)
    •  Strong analytical, interpersonal Skills
