  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    The position will report functionally to the Finance organization and be an important support member to the CTG FP&A Team with a concentration on supporting the North American SG&A Teams including Engineering Team with their financial forecasting, planning, reporting & analysis.

    1. Prepares financial reports by collecting, formatting, analyzing, and explaining information for month-end close.

    2. Participates in the development of monthly forecasts, annual financial plan, and long-term growth plans.  This includes loading said data into our Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) system.

    3. Prepares consolidated reports and analysis as needed – including Project Reports for Engineering.

    4. Supports all SG&A departments for forecasting, planning and monthly reporting with an emphasis on the Engineering Department.

    5. Provides monthly variance analysis and reporting on actual vs. forecast/plan results.

    6. Provide a variety of Ad-Hoc Reports and Analysis.

    7. Financial analysis and business support for all applicable North American operational teams as needed (Sales, Product/Program Management, Marketing, Engineering, etc.).

    8. Ability to travel as needed to other business locations as necessary.

    Other NA Tools and Service Solutions projects as required.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
    • Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration, preferred but not required.
    • Professional certifications (CPA, CMA, CFP) in areas of expertise, preferred but not required.
    • One to three years of progressive work experience in related field.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft applications (especially Excel) and HFM.
    • Take charge individual with lots of energy and a clear sense of urgency.
    • Proven track record of meeting commitments with the highest standards of ethics and integrity.
    • Ability to drive solutions to complex operations and financial issues.
    • Strong analytical and quantitative decision-making skills.
    • Ability to work in a team environment.
    • Effective communicator.  Excellent communication skills, ability to handle multiple projects, and confidence to work with business unit leaders.

    Willingness to challenge the status quo and think out of the box to improve profitability and/or processes.
