    Job Description

    Working as part of an agile Software development team, this role will involve developing embedded software for brake systems. As an agile software developer, you will be expected to perform following tasks:

    • Develop Software for Brake modulation systems, configuring & developing ESP SW components for features like ABS, Traction Control and Electronic Stability Control.
    • Responsible for analysis & development of the requirements for core controllers based on customer specifications.
    • Discuss the interface specifications for affected components w/ the component responsible.
    • Design, implement, & validate the solutions for the assigned functions.
    • Release and validated functions as per the project schedule.
    • Coordinate w/ the platform development group in Germany for support in the development of these software components if required.
    • Develop, implement, & test the SW solution using applicable tools.
    • 10% of travel may be necessary to Bosch & Customer Test Facilities in US & abroad for summer & winter validation of the assigned functions.
    • Flexible, in order to participate in test sessions in different locations (in and outside of the U.S. during all-weather seasons).
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Basic:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
    • 1+ years’ experience with embedded software development.
    • 1+ years' experience in the C and C++ programming languages.

    Preferred:

    • MS degree in Computer Engineering or a related technical field.
    • 3+ years of C++ software development experience in automotive or embedded control systems.
    • Experience with diagnostics development & CAN/J1939 network protocols; Test & measurement equipment; Hardware-in-the-loop testing equipment & procedures
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
    • Past experience dealing with OEM customers with strong negotiation skills.
    • Past experience developing cybersecurity functions for embedded systems.
    • Team player with strong interpersonal skills to work in a global organization.
