    Job Description

    Role Summary

    This role is responsible to support the different roles from the Prototype & Testing Organization focused in the following areas:

    • Project Management: Supporting sample coordinators and Validation & Equipment Coordinator with tasks related to the evaluation, planning and execution of a customer project in case of Sample Coordinator or internal projects in case of the Validation & Equipment Coordinator.
    • Engineering Activities: Supporting Lab Engineering with the execution of tasks to ensure all the testing equipment and machinery is available and properly operating for the Lab operations.

    Additional activities for this role are the evaluation and implementation of processes improvements for the prototype area and other areas from the Testing and Validation department.

    Tasks

    • Responsible for the physical asset tagging of the capitalized assets from the Prototype and Testing cost center.
    • Maintaining control lists for purchases, expenses and assets from the Validation and Prototype organizations.
    • Leading small internal projects for process improvement or lab related support under the mentoring of Validation & Equipment coordinator.
    • Process and customize data for KPI reporting to the organization.
    • Support with internal walk-through, audits and 5’s for lab and offices.
    • Support and/or lead review meetings with other internal Bosch areas to ensure compliance from our processes in terms of Health & Safety, IT services.
    • Supporting with parts cycle counts to ensure accuracy of physical inventory versus stated in our system.
    • Lead process improvements initiatives for the Prototype lab area.

    • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university and pursuing a Bachelors or Master’s degree with at least one semester completed.
    • Ability to work 30 - 40 hours per week.
    • Minimum of overall GPA of at least 3.0.
    • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
    • Ability to work with intercultural and virtual teams
    • Open minded and communicative
    • Willingness to work independently in a given framework
    • Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
