Job Description

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop and maintain software applications for cloud-based services and/or smart connected devices
• Actively participate in all phases of software development life cycle
• Innovate solutions for intelligent traffic systems

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
• 5 years of experience in software development and deployment of web applications
• Proficient in Python  
• Experience writing clean Python code, working with version control, and unit testing

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Strong understanding of fundamental web service technologies and RESTful implementation standards such as HTTP, URI, JSON and XML
• Experience building and releasing applications using continuous integration and deployment infrastructure (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab)
• Experience deploying and maintaining web applications on AWS or Azure
• Experience working in Linux environment
• Experience with Agile development processes
