Job Description

This role is hybrid remote with 40% monthly in-office presence at the Mount Prospect, Illinois office (2-3 days in the office per week).

The Financial Controlling intern will support Dremel's finance team by performing business controlling functions, preparing reports and performing ad hoc analysis.

In addition, this intern will:

• Provide proactive support to business units in monitoring, compiling and interpreting financial data for reporting, planning and decision-making purposes.
• Identify key trends that could impact profitability or growth strategy.
• Conduct analysis to drive initiatives.
• Create weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end KPI reporting and financial operations packages.
• Support annual business planning and forecasting process.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of (within 6 months) an accredited program in finance or accounting.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Candidate must be self-motivated, proactive, team-oriented, and resourceful.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic working knowledge in Microsoft Office applications (Advanced Excel and PowerPoint).
• Other PC skills and programs including Hyperion Financial Manager, SAP BW and SAP Analyzer (preferred).
