    Job Description

    The Pharma Aftermarket Sales intern will function as a member of the After‐Sales Service group providing support to existing customers with Bosch Packaging equipment and machinery. 

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    SPARE PARTS SUPPORT:

    • Receive and process customer requests for parts by phone, fax or email
    • Provide customers with accurate part pricing quotations and order confirmations in order to satisfy customer expectations while meeting company profit targets
    • Act as the liaison between our external customers and internal customers with a high degree of personalized attention
    • Provide enhanced customer service by determining and assisting customer needs while providing answers in a timely manner in order to reduce customer down tim
    • Liaise with the Accounts Receivable Department in an effort to resolve past due invoices as efficiently and expeditiously as possible
    • Interface with various third party vendors to identify, purchase and supply parts to end users
    • Handle multiple tasks simultaneously including reviewing customer orders, making decisions based on departmental rules and conditions, and provide the status of order and part number information to internal and external customers
    • Process repairs, returns and credit memos in a timely manner
    • Make recommendations to management concerning improvements to processes and procedures

    FILED SERVICE SUPPORT:

    •  Provide customers with accurate Field Service quotations
    • Act as the liaison between our customers and field service team with a high degree of personalized attention to provide optimum customer service
    • Address customer inquiries, resolve issues and obtain customer feedback proactively Identify and resolve customer concerns and complaints
    • Support service teams in achievement of service goals Process invoices through  SAP system and work with Accounts Receivable on payment issues
    • Review and process travel expense reports for accuracy and for adherence to company policies

    BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT:

    • Prepare market and customer analysis in collaboration with the Business Development Manager
    • Work on various business process projects to make the business more efficient Support business development for Bosch Packaging Services
    • Carry out market and competitor analysis, identify business potential
    • Review market analysis and prepare summary
    • Manage projects

    DAILY BUSINESS OPERATIONS SUPPORT:

    • Assist with general departmental operations, as needed.
    • Other duties and/or special projects as assigned
    • Create presentations and reports
    • Working with analytical reports
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

    • Must currently be enrolled in an accredited degree program in Business, Engineering or Information Technology and have completed at least two semesters toward a degree

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Strong interpersonal as well as strong communication skills
    • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail
    • A proven team‐player orientation • Solid computer skills including Word, Excel, Power Point and SAP
    • Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques
    • Command of German language is a plus
