Job Description

Make your mark as Procurement Specialist at Boskalis! Our business units are working as main contractors, for offshore renewables developers, with contracts from EUR 25 mln to over EUR 500 mln. To complete these projects successfully, we are seeking a Procurement Specialist to procure equipment, materials and services, within the agreed project timeframes and against the optimum market conditions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Contributing to the selection of suppliers and subcontractors and monitoring quality, prices, and delivery times;
• Ordering equipment, materials and services and monitoring the quality;
• Monitoring the timely delivery and expediting of ordered materials, equipment and services at the designated location and aligning with relevant stakeholders;
• Solving issues arising from the check of invoices;
• Contributes to the evaluation of suppliers performance;
• Responsible for checking and the correct entry of stock levels in the ERP system (SIC);
• Contributing to the continuously development of the procurement processes;
• Ensuring compliance with legislation, laws and company's guidelines and procedures (CSR).

Required Qualifications

You can move ahead as Procurement Specialist if you have:

• 2-3 years of relevant work experience in the field of Procurement;
• Experience in logistics, preferred;
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field;
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and adaptability;
• Expert level Excel and data management skills;
• Basic experience negotiating and managing contracts.

Extra information

• Your team: You will be part of the Offshore Energy US Offshore Renewables team reporting to the Procurement Manager.
• Where you will work: The US Offshore Renewables office is located in Providence, Rhode Island.
• Fulltime: The position of function is a fulltime job (40 hours a week).
• Contract: The contract for this position will range from 6 months to 12 months with the potential to become a regular employee.
