    Job Description

    This role requires 60% in office presence; remote work is permissible 40% of the time. Position Responsibilities: Working with the Senior Manager of Professional Development to design, manage, and evaluate all legal training content and summer associate training. Serving as a main communication contact for faculty, including attending planning meetings and working with attorneys to enhance and curate training content. Scheduling and implementing annual training programming and handling related communications with Section Managers, Practice Managers, and faculty. Acting as the project manager role for multi-day litigation skills programs, base camp training, and other career development programs. This includes, but not limited to: Scheduling and participating in planning meetings, brainstorming on new ideas and content, managing all the logistics, and liaising with attendees, faculty, and vendors. Being the expert on Continuing Legal Education (CLE) requirements for all programming, advising attorneys on firm policy and state rules for fulfillment of attorney CLE requirements, and working directly with business development colleagues on CLE programs for clients. Overseeing the process of CLE credit delivery and managing the firm's CLE Accreditations, maintaining good relationships with relevant CLE Boards, managing content delivery to preserve Accredited Provider status in relevant jurisdictions. Assisting with the planning and coordination of business development programs, including workshops, individual coaching, and group cohorts. Working with the Senior Manager of Professional Development to review training hours for all legal professionals and make distinctions between creditable and recordable allocations. Developing content for the Professional Development site and the Learning Management System interface. Assisting with the implementation of the firm's Non-Discrimination/Non-Harassment training, including quarterly new hire trainings and rolling out new eLearning retrain modules. Identifying new content, providers, and programming via attendance at conferences, and webinars. Seeking out training opportunities for attorneys in smaller practice areas. Reviewing feedback summaries and lessons learned regularly, strategizing how to best implement the feedback, communicating relevant feedback to respective constituents. Position Qualifications: BA/BS required. Minimum of three years of experience in professional development, preferably within a professional services firm. Excellent interpersonal, team, and verbal and written communications skills, with ability to be effective at all levels. Excellent organizational and administrative skills, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at once. Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Must be an independent and proactive self-starter. Excellent attention to detail and ability to execute through to completion. Creative problem solving skills, reasoning ability, and logical thought process. Ability to work under pressure, prioritize competing demands, and meet various deadlines. Outstanding sense of customer service. Enthusiastic, proactive, and positive attitude. Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion. Must be self-motivated to produce quality work. High level of integrity and honesty. Experience with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to quickly get up to speed and master new applications and software is critical.
