    The Risk Analyst II will provide risk support to the Bank's Director of Risk & Regulatory Governance in all disciplines within the area: regulatory and governance, operational risk, third party risk management and business continuity. The candidate will work with all departments across the Bank to monitor and test operational effectiveness and keep risk assessments current and actionable. Responsibilities Delivers proactive identification and interpretation of operational risk issues, risk trends, control deficiencies, and key developments (internal/external including emerging risks and issues). Understands the key controls for managing these risks, the effectiveness of the controls, mitigation strategies and recommends appropriate courses of action. Provides an independent, objective view of operational risk assessments, mitigation strategies, and emerging risks. Assists with the monitoring and reporting of operational risk profiles, significant risk management and control deficiencies, and material exposures to losses. Assists the Director of Operational Risk Management in preparing management reports. Assists with meeting management for the management committees run by the team. Provides support to the Third Party Risk Manager in completion of third party risk related tasks. Provides support to the Business Continuity Manager in completion of BC Program tasks. Assists with maintaining ERM governance documents. Assists with the regulatory examination process. Qualifications Bachelor's degree; graduate degree a plus Certifications in operational risk management or audit, a plus 5+ years related experience in banking data analysis or internal audit Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, and Power Point Exceptional attention to detail Excellent organizational skills Familiarity with the banking regulatory process Internal control/audit experience The ability to chart/graph, and analyze data and report trends Relationship management and negotiation skills with demonstrated ability to influence others Excellent communication and presentation skills Strong ability to write clear documents, especially policies, procedures, and reports The ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously; proven project management experience Ability to work both as an individual contributor and as a team player The ability to work collaboratively with managers and other team members
