HealthFitness has an exciting new opportunity to join our growing team at our client's community hospital health & wellness center located in Beaumont, TX! We are looking for passionate part-time (approximately 8-10 hours per week) REGISTERED DIETITIANS that will deliver counseling and facilitate positive behavior change in nutrition and proper eating with the goal of maximizing engagement and aligning outcomes with our client's program objectives, assuring customer satisfaction in relation to service delivery and program content.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Contributes to the planning, marketing, promotion and delivery of wellness programs.
• Interacts directly with members and guests; facilitates individual and group behavior change programs, one-on-one counseling, and any other specialized programs.
• Delivers health improvement programs.
• Responds immediately to member requests, inquiries and concerns.
• Maintains a neat appearance and wear proper uniform attire while on duty.
• Promotes and markets the wellness program effectively to target populations, increasing participation in programming.
• Must be proficient in our software management system for Point of sale transactions for programs and services.
• Actively promote programs and services to increase engagement and boost retention.
• Collects and evaluates program data and generates outcome focused management reports based on the identified business plan goals and objectives.
• Attend weekly and/or monthly meetings to develop strength in sales and service.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATIONS: 

REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition.
• Licensed Registered Dietitian.
• Flexibility in schedule.
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety & Health Institute required within 90 days of hire.

PREFERRED:

• Previous cash handling experience.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including at minimum Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills including the ability to motivate others.
• 1+ years of experience in delivery and coordination of health promotion programs, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team with enthusiasm, initiative and creativity.
