  • Responsibilities
    This role is responsible for providing ongoing HR system support, configuration and administration to a variety of applications used in the HR function including,  
    but not limited to, Human Capital Management system, time and attendance,talent management, applicant tracking and learning management systems.    
    This position is involved in all aspects of HR system configuration and testing, integrations, troubleshooting,   
    and end user security administration and training.  
      
    
    • HR System implementation, configuration, administration, testing, and maintenance: Partners with internal stakeholders and vendors on evaluating and implementing new technologies and resources for the organization. Assists in leading HR technology related projects. Reviews, tests, and implements all HRIS system upgrades or configuration updates related to business process changes. Collaborates with functional HR, Payroll, IT, and plant facilities to coordinate application of upgrades or changes. Develops user access profiles and ensures data integrity at all times.
    • Vendor management: Has a strong working relationship with all HRIS vendors. Directly partners with them to problem solve system issues, recommended solutions, and testing.
    • Reporting: Writes, maintains, and supports a variety of standard and ad hoc dashboards, reports, or queries within Kronos Workforce Central, Kronos Dimensions and UKG Pro (Cognos Business Intelligence) as needed to support business needs. Collects, compiles, and prepares HR data, metrics and statistics for analysis and presentation. Serves as the primary resource for company-wide analytics and reporting needs.
    • Auditing: Recommends and creates data auditing reports and procedures to ensure the accuracy of all HR data.
    • Compliance: Leads and coordinates data generation for compliance processes like PPACA, AAP, EEO-1, VETS-4212.
    • Training: Supports organizational training on HR systems by developing user procedures, guidelines, and documentation. Trains end users on new processes/functionality of HR systems as needed. Assists in the development of training tools for users/managers as needed.
    • System Integration: Partners with vendors to identify and create methods of linking systems through interfaces, imports, exports and reports. Monitors and works to quickly and effectively resolve service degradation issues.
    • Partners with the payroll department in system issues and changes.
    • Represents and leads HRIS activities and resources on cross-functional project teams in the areas of payroll, benefits, compensation, compliance, and training.
    • Serves as a subject matter expert for UKG-related functions while providing leadership to HRIS and supporting HR Leadership.
    • Demonstrates good judgement and discretion with dealing with highly sensitive data.
    • Maintains confidentiality of employee data and organization plans.
    • This role has the responsibility to understand and places in practice appropriate safety procedures. This responsibility is achieved through education, training, use of protective equipment (as applicable) and by following safety policies, regulations, standards, and laws.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Required Skills

     
    
    • 3-5 years of experience in related field is preferred.

    • Experience in HRIS

    • Excellent proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite Products.

    • Excellent knowledge of Human Resources processes, systems and best practices including, but not limited to: payroll, performance management, compensation management, talent management and recruitment.

    • Thorough understanding of HR compliance related laws and mandates.

    • Ability to assess and analyze complex business needs and conceptualize creative solutions anticipating short and long term needs of internal customers.

    • Project leadership ability.

    • Developed written, oral communication and presentation skills.

    • Thorough understanding of how business strategies drive talent initiatives.

    • Strong ability to manage multiple and competing priorities and deadlines and take initiative and ownership of action items. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change.

    • Prior experience providing technical guidance, support, analysis and development of Human Resources technology products, preferably UKG Pro/UltiPro and Kronos. Will consider other HRIS product knowledge and experience that is quickly transferrable to UKG products.

    • Advanced experience in Windows based products including, Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook. Hands on experience using Excel formulas and functions to gather, analyze, manipulate and audit large data sets.

    • BA/BS or equivalent is preferred.

    • Work is generally performed within a business professional office environment, with standard office equipment available.

    • Work conditions are typical of an office environment.

    • This role does not require any domestic travel

    • Position may require the physical agility of lifting up to 15 pounds

    • Position may require frequent and/or infrequent of bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, stretching/reaching, use hands or fingers, talk, hear, feel objects, tools, controls and standing/walking on concrete flooring.

    • Position may require the physical ability to stand/walk for Less than 4 hours.
