    PATH began its work in India in the late 1990s, bringing governments, communities, private-sector companies, and experienced public health practitioners together to address some of the country’s most crucial health problems. In early 2000, the scope of our India program expanded with a major immunization initiative for the state of Andhra Pradesh. Today, PATH’s India projects focus on TB, immunization, HIV/AIDS, injection safety, maternal health, Innovation Labs, and more.

     

    PATH is looking for a highly motivated, self-starter, and enthusiastic interns to work with the young and dynamic team working on various health projects. The interns will get an opportunity to operate in a zestful and evolving environment to contribute to a growing portfolio of impactful work in public health. Key responsibilities will be to provide support on activities including, but not limited to project management, knowledge management, assistance in developing concept notes and proposals, decks, and program strategy documents for projects.

     

    PATH seeks an Intern for supporting the Strategy and Partnerships Development team on projects with multiple stakeholders across various geographies. The intern will be working directly with the project team and supporting continuous Project Management and Stakeholder Engagement.

     

    DESCRIPTION OF THE LEARNING OBJECTIVES AND GOALS OF THE INTERNSHIP:

     

    GOALS: Gain hands-on experience in the Public Health and Development Sector. Develop advanced Skills in Research and Knowledge management.

     

    OVERALL OBJECTIVES:

     

    Work closely on the current projects to gain a deeper knowledge of the functions of Public Health.

    Gain working knowledge of Project Management and Program Implementation.

    Train for skills in Landscape Analysis, Knowledge Management, Program Coordination.

     

    PROPOSED ACTIVITIES FOR THE INTERNSHIP:

     

    Creating Knowledge repositories and documents for Internal and External stakeholders, posters, and decks relevant.

     

     

    Required Skills Required Experience

     

    EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND: 

     

     

    Enrolled in a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree at a reputed graduate school. Fresh graduates or students currently enrolled in Public Health, Development Studies, or Management are preferred.

     

     

    SKILLS:

     

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to coordinate and work with different teams.
    • Basic research and analytical skills, including the ability to proactively identify opportunities.
    • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure settings.
    • Excellent command over MS Office Applications, especially MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Powerpoint.
    • Comfortable with collaborating across all levels of leadership internally.
