    Our Information Technology Team is seeking a VICE PRESIDENT OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY that will be responsible for determining current and future enterprise technology vision, operations and execution. This role will oversee the design and implementation as well as maintenance and support of information systems that support the enterprise infrastructure of the organization. This includes overseeing SilkRoad's Information Technology teams including Corporate IT, Datacenter Operations, and Information Security. This role will also set the direction for the organization to align and meet global business needs while ensuring flexible, modern technologies to support various compliance, privacy and security policies and procedures.

    The VP of Information Technology will lead the delivery of technology operations and services across SilkRoad and our clients. The role is a vital leader within SilkRoad and must be a self-starter, possessing the ability to quickly understand complex situations and manage effective solutions across a diverse landscape of clients, vendors and employees.

    The ideal candidate is an innovative leader with excellent analytical abilities and judgment who can set and deliver on the Information Technology team's objectives that support overall company goals while being efficient and delivery focused. This is a technical hands-on management position.

    Your contributions to SilkRoad will include:

    • Providing direct leadership to IT Managers and Directors.
    • Acting as a data-driven leader who manages employees and service providers to deliver a quality set of coordinated services with alignment to standard processes, tools, and service levels.
    • Managing escalations of incidents/outages through the different support tiers within the organization.
    • Driving resolution of high-level outages impacting IT operations areas.
    • Participating in and managing the development of IT vision; translating the vision into short and long-term goals and deliverables that support IT operations.
    • Managing and effectively negotiating the engagement, delivery, and oversight of activities related to Infrastructure services provided by external vendors and service providers.
    • Directing and advising on effective datacenter facility set-up and management.
    • Managing and monitoring all systems and adherence to corporate infrastructure and security including SOC-2 compliance, and internal policies as needed.
    • Providing vision, guidance, and collaborative leadership related to IT and Security initiatives across the organization.
    • Understanding and experience implementing strategies for introducing and gaining interest for new ideas.
    • Interfacing with business stakeholders and functional area leaders to define support initiatives and solutions for improving service efficiency and effectiveness through positivity and client satisfaction.

    Required Skills

    • Develops, implements, maintains, and oversees enforcement of IT Operations policies, procedures, and associated plans for security, desktops and infrastructure based on industry-standard best practices and SOC-2 Requirements.
    • Proficient with computer software and MS Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

    Required Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems Management, or equivalent related IT work experience.
    • Minimum of 12 years of experience in Information Technology experience is required.
    • Expertise in industry-wide best practices for data security, cloud-computing (primarily AWS/Azure), and information system management.
    • Experience integrating security at every stage of the development cycle.
    • Progressively increasing leadership responsibility in IT Operations and services areas that include delivery of cloud services.
