    Our Software Development group is seeking a SOFTWARE QA ENGINEER LEAD to ensure the quality of SilkRoad products and services. As part of the Development team, the Software QA Engineer Lead will be involved in the design, development, and execution of the testing strategy of SilkRoad applications.

    Your contributions to SilkRoad will include:

    • Research new tools, technologies, and testing processes.
    • Design, develop and execute a complete test strategy for assigned products and features including verification of functionality, performance, security and scalability.
    • Interacts closely with developers offering suggestions and ideas for improving the quality of products.
    • Communicates QA results, risks and project status to internal team members and members of the management team.
    • Coaches, mentors, and works with other QA engineers to ensure quality in all aspects of organization.

    • Proficient with cloud software development and agile development practices.
    • Knowledge of cloud platforms.
    • Experience with a variety of QA automation technology areas.
    • Ability to work independently between periodic check-ins.
    • Estimates timelines effectively; identifies and communicates roadblocks in timely manner; takes operational excellence seriously.
    • Delegates; raises awareness of projects at risk or people problems.

    Required Experience

    • Minimum of 10 years’ experience developing or testing commercial software preferably in a cloud environment.
    • Minimum of 8 years’ experience independently performing manual or automated testing and developing and maintaining automated tests for a functional area.
    • Experience with Microsoft stack (.NET Framework, Visual Studio, C#, SQL Server) is required.
    • Knowledge of cloud services (Azure, AWS, or similar) is preferable.
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other technical discipline, or equivalent work experience.
