If you have a passion for helping people, then HealthFitness has a opportunity for you as a BENEFITS SPECIALIST (BILINGUAL SPANISH/ENGLISH) to work at our client site in EMPORIA, KS. In this position, you will support the client’s employees and their family members in understanding, navigating, and receiving the best value out of the healthcare, wellness and employee incentive programs provided by the client. These services are provided through educating and assisting the members both face to face and telephonically to better understand and utilize their benefits program. You will serve as a resource to save the member time and cost as well as reduce their stress level. MUST BE FLUENT IN SPANISH.

_Schedule: 40 hrs/wk, M-F 8:30a- 5p, up to 25% travel _

WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU: 

• High School Diploma required, Bachelor's degree in related field a plus. 
• Must have a minimum of 3+ years of related healthcare/health insurance experience, claims processing, or provider billing.
• Demonstrated experience in researching issues, problem-solving, organizational skills and time-management.
• Strong presentation skills for a variety of audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast paced, constantly changing environment with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint), data entry and electronic mail applications.
• MUST BE BI-LINGUAL IN SPANISH
• CEBS, PHR, SPHR or CBP certification a plus.
• Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test. 
• Will be required to follow any current or future site COVID-19 vaccination policies including but not limited to proof of vaccination, weekly testing, etc.
