  • Responsibilities

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    Expedite paperwork for deliveries and shipments; verify all documents in accordance with established procedures; verify accuracy of information; notify suppliers of weight received variances and refused product.

    MAJOR POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Process goods receipts.
    • Coordinate department activities with Traffic Team Leads and Logistic Supervisor.
    • Document order changes / cancellations in accounting program. Schedule delivery appointments.
    • Maintain paperwork including bills and pack lists.
    • Enter quality information for receiving loads in GSQA, (internet reporting database).
    • Process raw material and general supply goods receipts.
    • Enter blue wood pallet information and schedule deliveries.
    • Process paperwork from drivers, gather information and giving instruction to keep drivers informed of schedule.
    • Enter information on boxes, beef, pork received and outgoing orders in spreadsheets.
    • Maintain refused combo log and returned goods log.
    • Send weekly orders, changes, and cancellations information to our off-site cold storage facility.
    • Organize files of tally sheets, order changes, and cancellations.
    • Schedule UPS and FedEx pick ups.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Required Skills

    High School diploma. Working knowledge of MS Office; excel and word, SAP a plus.
