Our Client is an award-winning, privately held software and services company and the leading Business Insights as a Service provider to enterprise deal teams. Our flagship product is an innovative business performance research and insights platform that helps enterprise sellers improve and accelerate account engagement and pipeline development. They're seeking a Fractional 20 hour a week Market Research Analyst to join their organization.

What you'll be doing

The role of the Analyst is to provide accurate and timely financially focused research related to various products & services delivered to clients, help manage the process of receiving & assigning requests and ensuring that materials are sent at the right time to the right people, also review the work for accuracy and quality.

Work with other analysts and client contacts; may also take direction on various projects from other internal senior management team members. Accountable for ensuring all materials are accurate and delivered on time.

Responsibilities include…

• Prepare various research documents including:
  • o Company Brief reports
• o Financial Performance Reviews
• o Strategy maps for use by client sales teams
• o Industry trend research and summarizing findings
• o Client opportunity assessments (COA/CAW)
• o Ad hoc reports as needed
• Reviewing company financial statements, read annual reports, navigate other business reports and presentations
• Creating presentations for internal teams as well as clients
• Updating eLearning content through research, writing, QC, and creation in eLearning software application
  • o Industry Financial Insight (IFI)
• o Financial Acumen
• Conducting research to update ClientIQ content (e.g. industry trends, risks, etc.)
• Testing the application for new features and/or KPIs
• Solution Mapping: map operational KPIs to customers' solutions within the ClientIQ application using use cases, marketing collateral, customer web

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a similar field
• Financial or finance-related background
• Top-notch written and verbal communication skills
• Prior experience doing Market Research on organizations
• Analytical skills for evaluating operational metrics and financial data
  • Analyze Income Statements/Balance Sheets to identify trends/outliers
• Ability to tell a written story effectively and succinctly using proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation
• Stellar writing skills
• Proficient with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
• Ability to multi-task effectively, manage project timelines independently, and meet deadlines.
• High attention to detail
• Inquisitive
• Must be able to work independently, be self-motivated, and have exceptional organizational skills
• Work well under pressure
• Team player who collaborates well with others

This is a 1099 Independent Contractor role working remotely from your home office. Your hours are flexible, however, you must have availability during normal business hours to meet with your client(s) as this role does not work in conjunction with another full-time position.
