    Position Overview: Mic'd Up is seeking a highly organized individual to join our team as a Podcast Booking Agent. As a Podcast Booking Agent, you will play a crucial role in identifying, contacting, and securing guests for our podcasts. This position requires a passion for content creation, strong communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of individuals.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Guest Acquisition: * Identify potential guests aligned with Mic'd Up's content themes and target audience. * Research and analyze potential guests' backgrounds, expertise, and relevance to specific podcast episodes.
    2. Outreach and Communication: * Initiate and manage communication with potential guests through various channels, including email, social media, and professional networking platforms. * Clearly articulate the value proposition of Mic'd Up and the benefits of being featured on our podcasts.
    3. Negotiation and Coordination: * Negotiate terms, scheduling, and logistics with potential guests to ensure a seamless booking process. * Collaborate with podcast hosts, producers, and other team members to coordinate guest appearances.
    4. Relationship Building: * Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with podcast guests, fostering long-term connections. * Stay informed about industry trends, emerging thought leaders, and potential collaborators.
    5. Data Management: * Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of guest outreach, responses, and bookings. * Utilize relevant tools and platforms to streamline the booking process.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience in public relations, marketing, sales.
    • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey enthusiasm and professionalism.
    • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
    • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
    • Familiarity with podcasting and a passion for staying up-to-date on industry trends.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

    • High-speed Internet Access

    This is a 1099 Independent Contractor role working remotely from your home office. Your hours are flexible, however, you must have availability during normal business hours to meet with your client(s) as this role does not work in conjunction with another full-time position.
