Role Overview
Responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates for custom home building and renovation projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
Analyze architectural drawings and specifications to calculate the quantity and quality of materials required.
Work closely with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain and negotiate accurate pricing and ensure their scope of work is correct.
Collaborate with the construction team to ensure project feasibility and cost efficiency.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, costs, and construction techniques.
Ensure estimates align with Supple Homes' core values and mission statement.
Assist in the preparation and approval of bids, budgets, and cost tracking reports.
Provide recommendations to optimize costs without compromising quality.
Participate in project meetings and contribute to the strategic planning and evolution of the company.
