    POSITION SUMMARY: Provides support in functional areas of Human Resources Department, which include HRIS Data entry, recruitment and the hiring process, personnel records, administrative support, filing, forms development, job evaluation, benefits administration, On boarding, Workers Compensation, Legal compliance and tracking of leave programs, policies and procedures, employee rewards programs, wellness initiatives and other projects as assigned.

    POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

    College Degree required, preferably in Human Resources with 2 or more years of HR experience, preferably in health care industry; or 5 years of HR related work.

    Advance computer skills in Outlook, Microsoft word, Excel, PowerPoint and an HRIS system, must keyboard at 50 wpm and have ability to learn new programs as needed.

    Must have knowledge of Federal State employment laws and regulations.

    Must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to work autonomously within the parameters of the job.

    Must be able to prioritize multiple projects and maintain multiple time lines.

    Must have outstanding interpersonal skills and advance assessment and listening skills along with Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, approximately 9am to 4pm (32 hours per week)

    ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/REQUIREMENTS

    Coordinate the Recruitment process, post recruitment ads for online and print. Collaborate with Marketing to develop recruitment marketing tools/ads. Research and identify the best site for posting openings to maximize exposure to target audience. Participate in Job Fairs when advantageous. Process the purchase order and invoices for recruitment ads.

    Assist HR Director in the recruitment process for all non-exempt jobs. Maintain Applicant tracking Software and process applicants, review and evaluate candidates resume/application, conduct screening of applicants via resume/application review, phone screen and/or in-person interviews. Collaborate with hiring manager to determine your role for each opening as it may vary.

    Review the job description and position requirements with hiring manager prior to posting the job and update the job descriptions prior to recruitment efforts begin.

    Customize and or create interview guides, collaborate with the hiring manager and make adjustments as needed.

    Keep accurate Job posting/ requisition reports for analysis and tracking.

    Manage the Internal Job posting process for the hospital, keeping the list current and publicized on BCH website and company email and bulletin boards.

    Check references on top candidates.

    Set up and or schedule interview appointments for Hiring manager with top candidates upon request.

    Extend contingent job offers to candidates as directed on behalf of HR Director and hiring manager.

    Schedule, coordinate and administer the Hiring process...

    Timely process all new hire background check documents with different vendors and maintain accurate reports.

    Accurately maintain Employee HR and Medical files and timely keep files updated.

    Assist HR Director in managing all Leave programs to include processing of paper work, tracking time off, communicating to employees and overseeing their leaves.

    Assist in the Benefits administration process by providing education materials, assisting employee enrollment of benefits, doing data entry of their benefits into appropriate systems and troubleshoot any issues that arise with vendor or employees until resolved.

    Provide administrative duties to include stocking HR forms, making copies, creating new hire, and fingerprint and benefits orientation packets as needed.

    Input all employee data into HRIS system and maintain its accuracy. Compile reports from HRIS system as requested.

    Produce various reports for HR department as requested, Licenses, survey staffing reports as needed from HRIS system. Keep internal tracking reports current for Recruitment, Workers Compensation, Background checks, and all benefits enrollment tracking.

    Coordinate and maintain Employee Recognition programs; Purchases Pins, create check requests for bonus awards, order flowers, makes award documents, Coordinates the “Employee of the Month” and Annual Service Award Events.

    Provide back-up to HR Director in processing of Workers Compensation process of claims and all Leave requests to include Family Medical Leave.

    Keep skills and HR Knowledge update and current, learn about new requirements post legislative changes

    Serve as the Wellness liaison for hospital, create, coordinate and oversee all Wellness projects.

    Serve as member of the Social Committee.

    Participate in special HR projects as assigned.

    Address Patient, employees and visitors in a professional and respectful manner.

    Maintain confidentiality at all times and adhere to all Hospital policies, procedures and practices.
