We are seeking a strong Payroll Manager for an upscale luxury resort located here in San Diego! The Payroll Manager will play a very hands on role; you will be overseeing all aspects of payroll and heavily managing the compliance aspect. This position will be reporting ONSITE, so only local candidates please apply. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide a detailed audit and review of current payroll, benefits and tax procedures 
• Assist with payroll processing and to work directly with the payroll staff to assign and manage workflow
• Ensure that all payroll staff members are cross-trained to independently process an entire payroll 
• Oversee the overall accountability for data integrity, including quality, accuracy, reporting and timeliness and usability

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 3 + years of prior Management experience
• 5 years of payroll experience managing payroll processing, with a large population of hourly employees, for multiple sites and be knowledgeable with State and Federal wage & hour laws. 
• Must be knowledgeable of accounting principles and practices. 
• Hospitality experience preferred.
