Job Description
POSITION OVERVIEW:
TSE is responsible for assigned material handling projects, upgrades/overhauls, and preventative/corrective maintenance. This role is National in scope. STRONG MECHANICAL APTITUDE/EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Leads assigned projects overseeing schedule execution, and resource requirements.
Understanding and knowledge of various controls architectures, related controls levels, and the functionality of control domains.
Ability to coordinate the execution of activities by internal resources as well as general contractor resources and recognize issues that require corrective action to minimize impact on timely execution.
Experience with the coordination of on-site activities involving multiple (sub)contractors vying for the same space and time windows.
Provides direct support to customers and BOWE service personnel on all BOWE products; guides and supports customer service engineers; provides training on BOWE products to customer service engineers, and customer as necessary.
Regarded as a product specialist_, _responsible for overseeing the technical progress of the local service team.
Fosters positive customer relations by communicating with customers; responding to complaints/inquires in a cooperative, supportive, and professional manner
Installs system updates, upgrades, modifications and performs preventative maintenance per factory specifications
Provides emergency customer assistance, responds to emergency and non-scheduled calls for service within established response time goals.
Contributes to the team/work group efforts to provide the highest quality of support to the customer by supporting complex repairs, FCO’s, upgrades, moves/relocations, and other related tasks in a cooperative/supportive manner.
Conducts system functionality testing and commissioning
Adhere to all of customer’s policies and procedures, including their safety protocols, employee conduct, confidentiality requirements, etc.
Ability to travel up to 75% of the time domestically and/or internationally.
Other items /duties to be assigned as the need arises.
PHYSICAL ASPECTS:
Work is primarily done on-site, noise, dust, vibration, cold or heat can be experienced. Various personal protective equipment is required to carry out the work (safety shoes, safety glasses, protective gloves, safety helmet or protective clothing). During the work activity it is necessary to kneel, bend or lie down when assembly takes place. There may also be lifting, pulling, pushing, or hoisting up to + - 50 lbs. Tools are used for heavier tasks. Working safely at all times is required to prevent bodily injury.
