LITIGATION LEGAL ASSISTANT

New career opportunity for a LITIGATION LEGAL ASSISTANT at one of our established clients. This is a direct hire position with an excellent compensation package. A successful candidate would already have worked a minimum of three years in a fast-paced firm focused on litigation matters.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support attorneys in a prestigious law firm specializing in general litigation, torts experience preferable
• Ability to draft correspondence to judges, attorneys, expert witnesses, etc.
• Docket deadlines.
• Format pleadings and correspondence.
• Schedule depositions, hearings, conference calls.
• E-File documents in State and Federal Courts.
• Assist with document management and file organization.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• MINIMUM OF 3+ YEARS’ EXPERIENCE WORKING IN THE AREA OF LITIGATION IN A LAW OFFICE.
• Knowledge with State/Federal court filings.
• High proficiency in MS Suite, Word and Outlook
• Ability to think and act independently.
• Articulate, organized and a team player with excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

COMPENSATION:

• Excellent salary 75K to 85K based on experience
• Benefits Included (medical, GENEROUS 401K, dental, etc.)
