    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

    In response to significant growth in our Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) business and portfolio, Framatome is looking for an experienced, self-starting I&C engineer with a proven track record of driving multiple, simultaneous activities to closure.

    This position reports to the I&C Platform Product Management group. The I&C Platform Product Management group is responsible for managing and maintaining the lifecycle of Framatome’s US I&C platforms and acting as a resource for in-depth product knowledge.

    This includes (but is not limited to):

    • Product design changes
    • Product qualification
    • Product lifecycle management/oversight
    • Analyzing/dispositioning potential issues
    • Responding to customer (internal/external) questions

    To support these activities, we are looking for an engineer to fully engross themselves in our I&C platform products and perform tasks such as:

    • Develop design changes impacting Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs)
    • Serve as project engineer for development/qualification projects
    • Develop and review product design requirement
    • Research and propose a path forward for the evolution of current products
    • Collaborate with other organizations (domestic and international) to align processes
    • Represent Framatome in front of customers and regulators
    • Support and lead Operational Excellence initiatives to continuously improve group performance

     

     

    TRAVEL: Up to 25%

    Required Skills Required Experience

    ALL CANDIDATES MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY:

    • BS in Eng'g/Eng'g Tech. plus 7-10 years of engineering experience. An advanced degree may be substituted for related exp. (MS 1-2 yrs. or PhD 1-3 yrs.). In applicable states a PE license will be accepted in lieu of a 4 yr. engineering degree.

     

     

     

    THE FOLLOWING MAY BE USED TO DIFFERENTIATE CANDIDATES WHO APPLY FOR THIS POSITION:

    • Framatome LSS Black Belt certification preferred.
    • Project Management/Project Engineering experience
    • PCB layout and design experience
    • Nuclear power plant experience
    • Experience working in a highly regulated environment
    • Experience communicating and working with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission

    • Significant Travel Required up to 60% of time.

    • Approaches role as a business owner, considering cost/benefit aspects in decision making.
