Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Fixed Asset Management including posting information to the fixed asset database, analysis of Capital Budget to actual expenditure, posting depreciation.
· Research and analysis related to agency wide energy management
· Permit management, working with Club and Facilities staff to obtain all city permits required to operate all sites as well as summer camps.
· Process journal entries for the month-end close
· Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliation and resolve any accounting discrepancies.
· Prepare bank reconciliations on a monthly basis.
· Coordinate and process Inversant (college savings account) withdrawals. Manage relationship with Metro Credit Union.
· Develop and maintain a working knowledge of DOE billing system to enable execution of basic processes in a short-term backup role as required.
· Assist in year-end audit process.
· Manage a central repository for all BGCB legal contracts and agreements, working with EVP/CFO for legal review and with A/P for payment.
· Assist EVP/CFO in managing insurance claims, annual insurance renewal applications and certificate requests from across the organization.
· Coordinate quarterly organization-wide Safety Committee calls.
· Receive, compile and process all accident reports and injury logs received from Clubs.
· Maintain organizational records with regard to emergency planning, including continuity of operations, emergency contacts and evacuation plans.
· Review and update BGCB archives, document retention policies and procedures.
· Assist in preparation of materials in advance of Board committee meetings, and transcription of minutes.
· Other duties and assignments as requested by the Controller and/or EVP/CFO.
