    WE ARE OFFERING SIGN-ON BONUSES FOR FULL TIME LINE COOKS $2,000 FOR FULL TIME (34+HRS/WEEK)

    Full Time (34+hrs/week) will be paid out in increments ($1,000 after 480 hours worked, additional $1,000 after 960 hours worked)

    RATE: $16-$18/hr

    Assists the Food Services Supervisor in handling, preparing and cooking food in accordance with sanitation codes and the Department of Public Health regulations. Assists in the usage of food to its best advantage, avoiding waste. Supervises food services staff in the absence of the Food Services Supervisor. Normal work schedules are five days per week with rotating days off.     QUALIFICATIONS & LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:

    High school diploma or equivalent and 3-5 years of experience in food preparations, preferably in a retirement home, nursing home or other health care facility. Should be familiar with Massachusetts food code as well as DPH regulations. Food Sanitation & Allergy Certification required.

    Is subject to extreme temperatures, burns, cuts, falls and other hazards associated with kitchen work.  The majority of the day is spent standing and the incumbent is also required to bend, stoop and walk intermittently, work in extreme heat, balance, pull, push, and reach.  Subject to repetitive movement.  Must be able to lift heavy, hot objects up to 50 pounds.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Direct Practice responsibilities include:

    • Introductory phone calls to youth and families.
    • Home visits, intakes and assessments, referrals, advocacy, clinical case management, crisis intervention and linkage to community based services.
    • Individual and family counseling.
    • Convene and lead case conferences for clients with families and providers.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with community-based service providers and other public/private providers such as the Department of Children and Family, Department of Youth Services, churches, schools, courts, etc.
    • Attend community based meetings pertinent to needs/issues of youth in community.
    • Maintain accurate and timely case records via an electronic database.
    • Participate in weekly individual supervision, group supervision and staff meetings.
