    The Facility Technician & Systems Administrator Support will be responsible for:

    • Working collaboratively in a team environment in close coordination with IT, provide support for building security systems, conference room audio video technology, and building power and network needs. Supports network printers and office automation environment. Provides Mobile Device support for local and remote users.
    • Support the Sr. Systems Administrator in his absence and responding to system alerts. Support end user computers and maintains and supports company wide Microsoft OS on premise and cloud-based systems. Add and configure new workstations, laptops and mobile devices.

    PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Facility Support:

    Following Bracco IT standards and protocols, maintain, administrate, coordinate with vendors on facility and building technology needs: Maintain and administrate building security systems which includes badge access, door monitoring, security cameras, and coordinated off hour patrols.

    • Maintain and assure conference room technology is operating error free
    • Maintain and administrate building power systems as it relates to technology. This includes UPS, generator, PDUs in all network closets.
    • Responsible for working with vendors to ensure network, power and security systems are placed and moved as needed coordinating with the IT Team

    IT Support: 

    • Globally install, setup, support, repair, upgrade, and inventory computers, applications, mobile devices and provide user support
    • Set up user accounts and authentication
    • Analyze and resolve application errors, hardware problems and connectivity issues
    • Perform procedures to prevent the spread of viruses
    • Collect information, research solutions, and analyze possible resolutions to issues
    • Promptly respond and place follow-up calls to users about ongoing issues
    • Ensure business requirements are met through streamlined business processes

    Other tasks including assisting in annual budget process, consultant/vendor management and other ad hoc tasks as assigned

    Required Skills

    MINIMUM

    • Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for U.S.-based job, if not currently employed by ACIST Medical Systems.
    • 2–year associate degree or certification in technology, computer science, IT, etc. or equivalent work experience
    • 3 year’s work experience as cross functional IT Technician work on building automation and audio/video products support plus 3 year’s work experience as a systems administrator or in a similar role working with building security systems, power, and network requirements
    • Ability to coordinate with vendors in the installation and repair as needed conference room technology and building security systems (alarm, door access, cameras)
    • Ability to install, configure and maintain personal computers, networks and related hardware and software.
    • Knowledge of computer and/or network security systems, applications, virtualization, backup and restore procedures and techniques
    • User support of Microsoft Online products Office 365, MS Teams, Azure in a mixed, on premise environment
    • Ability to identify and resolve computer system malfunctions and operations problems from data center to client
    • Ability to communicate technical information to nontechnical personnel
    • Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills to effectively translate ideas, concepts, and information
    • Ability to quickly learn and support new systems and applications.

     PREFERRED:

    • 4-year degree in IT or 2-year degree with high level technical certifications

    • Expert knowledge in security camera and building security systems

    • 5 years’ work experience as a Systems or Network Administrator supporting users and data center infrastructure

    • Knowledge of Microsoft technologies including SCCM, Office 365, Azure, EndPoint solutions, VPN, authentication and policies, client and server operating systems

    • Knowledgeable in building, office, and production automation systems
