    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    As a National Outbound Concrete Sales Representative, you will represent Jon-Don along with specific concrete vendor partners in the ever-evolving concrete industry. You will have the opportunity to manage accounts for current valued Jon-Don clients, and be responsible for the growth of new accounts over the phone.

     

    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    • Obtain and grow new client relationships through research and fielding referrals by generating interest in Jon-Don
    • Service existing accounts by building relationships with consistent follow-ups, continuous conversation, project management assistance, and industry knowledge
    • Meet minimum daily outbound call numbers and productive talk time
    • Focus sales efforts by managing up-to-date accounts and utilizing customer feedback to attain quarterly growth
    • Provide product and equipment knowledge relevant to client base and industry
    • Update management using Salesforce to log activities and opportunities pertaining to your client base
    • Process orders and close sales
    • Develop a realistic opportunity pipeline for future growth expectations
    • Resolve customer frustrations by investigating the issue, developing and implementing solutions, and monitoring the outcome

    SCOPE:

     

    • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, customer training classes, and vendor product presentation
    • Works professionally with other national outbound team members, regional representatives, customer service, inside sales representatives, management, marketing, service, shipping, and warehouse teams at all regional locations
    • Maintain contact with customers every day
    • Travel to customer locations and trade shows as needed (up to 20% of your time)

    Required Experience

    EXPERIENCE: 1-3 years of proven sales experience, strong phone skills, experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM, ability to multi-task, prioritize, and effectively manage time

     

    SKILLS:

    Self-motivated, goal driven, exhibit proper phone etiquette, research skills, detail-oriented, organized, strong oral and written communication

     

    PERSONALITY TRAITS:

    National Outbound Concrete Sales Representatives should be friendly, confident personalities who are comfortable calling people they have never spoken to before. You cannot be afraid to ask for a sale.
