    The CONCIERGE acts as an ambassador, whose excellent customer service is the top priority. Newbury Court is a 24X7 operation divided in 3 shifts, which makes the Concierge Desk the communication center of the campus. The Concierge is the facilitator between residents and staff, resident and visitors, resident and callers, and emergency personnel both inside and outside the company. The Concierge works in a fast-paced environment, characterized by frequent interruption by phone and visitors and intermittent work on the computer.

    SHIFTS:  TUESDAY- SATURDAY 7PM-11P 

    Qualifications and License Requirements:

    • High School Diploma or Equivalent

    • 3-5 years in office, reception or customer service position that required clear communication with residents/office staff, and personal interface with visitors, vendors, and contractors.

    • Must have computer skills to access the company’s Portal, accomplish tasks such as work orders and away forms, communicate effectively with residents and co-workers, and assist residents as needed.

    • Must have ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff in English both written and verbal.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the delivery of social recreation department program, activities, and events as directed.
    • Assist in the supervision and discipline of members participating in programs and services within the program area as well as throughout the clubhouse as deemed appropriate.
    • Participate in collaborative programs and events with staff from other clubhouse departments as well as staff from other BGCB clubhouses and community organizations as appropriate.
    • Assist in the completion of BGCB''s program activity standards as assigned.
    • Assist volunteers and consultants who can offer related support and guidance to members.
    • Participate in program/service outcome measurement processes and other evaluations programs including BGCA''s annual evaluation Commitment to Quality as appropriate.
    • Secure and maintain materials, equipment and other resources belonging to the program area(s). Maintain a safe and clean program area(s).
    • Participate in individual and group supervision sessions; participate in professional development opportunities as appropriate.
    • Travel between sites and to activities as needed.
    • Other related duties as specified by the Social Recreation Director.
