    POSITION SUMMARY: 

    The Events Coordinator helps deliver on the business priorities by producing corporate trade shows, virtual events, mobile showroom activities, sales meetings, and other events to ensure all aspects run smoothly and meet the goals established for the event. Your passion is to deliver a best-in-class experience for current and future customers through cross collaboration with internal teams, including the planning and promotion of our events. To be successful in this role, you should have hands-on experience in event coordination and planning of all types. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and have excellent organizational and time-management skills.

     

    POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:                                          

    • Collaborates with Marketing and Sales to plan and produce events that reflect our brand, thought leadership, and solution offering
    • Works together with Marketing and Sales to create properties to support events, both physical and virtual
    • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to develop marketing and promotional materials to support events, with the purpose of educating and informing the audience, to increase exhibit visits
    • Prepares and communicates a schedule of events, for both in-person and online tradeshows, sales meetings, and seminars
    • Researches and identifies events that help facilitate company goal achievement, and secures space that best fits the needs for event success
    • Coordinates with suppliers to produce needed structures and demonstration equipment for both in-person and virtual events, working within established budgets
    • Provides pre and post event support for onsite and online execution and management of events
    • Arranges event staffing, including event registration, housing, communications, and staff education about event plans and goals
    • Coordinates materials shipments for events
    • Collaborates with Marketing and management to update and maintain our corporate showroom with high functioning exhibits and presentations that provide visitors an engaging experience reflecting our brand, thought leadership, and solution offering
    • Increases knowledge of trends in experiential marketing in the industrial automation space for continuous improvement of and increased traffic to our exhibit spaces and experiences

    TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

    • 20% - 25% travel within the Americas

    BENEFICIAL EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Knowledge of industrial automation industry is a plus

    PHYSICAL, ENVIRONMENTAL, COGNITIVE REQUIREMENTS

    • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.
    • Ability to organize and prioritize working activities (flexibility).
    • Ability to execute logical reasoning and decision-making skills.
    • Ability to communicate clearly and present information to diverse groups effectively.
    • Ability to stand for prolonged periods (50% of the time or more) when on-site for events

    Required Skills Required Experience

    ESSENTIAL EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Ability to work in a fast paced environment across various business units while juggling multiple deadlines
    • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with an ability to communicate at all levels within the organization
    • Excellent organizational and planning skills, project management
    • Bachelors in Marketing or similar degree, or equivalent experiential marketing experience
    • 3+ years of experience in trade show or event management
    • Ability to travel to events. Travel will be scheduled in advance.
    • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
  • Qualifications

    Minimum:

    • BS. in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar discipline
    • 5-7 years of experience in Product software applications, developer, analyst and/or QA
    • 5+ years of experience with software validation in a medical device environment
    • Experience with PLM, ERP and other QMS applications
    • Strong working knowledge of the FDA Quality System Regulation, ISO 13485, the Medical Device Directive and Medical Device Regulations
    • Knowledge and proficiency in the application of AAMI TIR 36, EN 62304, EN 62366, IEC/TR 80002-1, and other standards, regulations and guidance related to validation of software and computerized systems
    • Experience with cybersecurity and knowledgeable in HIPAA regulations and GDPR and related data protection policies
    • Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in the application of 21 CFR Part 11, IPSE GAMP, ISO 14971, and other standards, regulations and guidance related to validation of software computerized systems.
    • Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in quality principles and best practices
    • Strong collaboration skills to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
    • Effective oral and written communication skills
    • Effective technical writing skills
    • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
    • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally
    • Travel expected to be approximately 10-15%

      

    Preferred:

    • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar discipline
    • ASQ CSQE (Certified Software Quality Engineer) or similar certification
    • Experience with Agile PLM, Jama, TrackWise and/or SAP
    • Demonstrated project management skills
    • Familiarity with SDLC processes and methodologies, especially the application of Agile methods in the development of medical device software
