The Boys and Girls Club of The Coastal Plain is seeking a part-time employee in our Information Technology department.

As an Information Technology Tech at the Boys and Girls Club of the Coastal Plain, the successful candidate will have an opportunity to gain experience and attain skills in not only computer systems analyst activities, but other activities related to daily operations and administrative duties of a growing business.

Job Responsibilities

· Desktop/laptop configuration and set-up

· Level one tech support (Help Desk duties)

· Troubleshoot Desktops, Laptops, and Printers

· Traveling to different sites owned by the Organization

· Assisting with IT System Administrator projects

· Performing some logistical and office administration duties (Inventory Devices)

· Occasionally working on weekends and helping set up for special events.

Requirements

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to multitask and work independently on multiple tasks

· Responsibly Manage Time

· Logical approach, critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills

*Must have a valid NC driver's license.

Additional Requirements

· Familiarity with Microsoft Windows 7 and later

· Proficient with Microsoft Office and Office 356

Helpful to Have

· Associates Degree in IT related field

· Ability to perform minor desktop/laptop hardware cleaning and repairs

· Understanding of client/server networking concepts

· Understanding of TCP/IP protocol

· Awareness of the purpose of Active Directory

· Knowing the difference between Workgroup and Domain
