    OVERVIEW

    Under the general direction of the Senior Director of Resource Development, the Resource Development Coordinator will be responsible for administrative and development tasks to support the Department. This is a hybrid role that requires at least three (3) days in the office at our Jack Minges location in Winterville, NC.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Maintain an intentional stewardship strategy supporting and in collaboration with Resource Development team and volunteer Committees.

    Enhance and implement strategies and processes that support gift acknowledgement, donor relations, retention and cultivation.

    Provide administrative support for the Resource Development Department in the following key areas:

    Prospect coordination: In collaboration with Resource Development Administration, review and maintain robust donor database to drive individual, corporate, and foundation giving.

    Fundraising event and meeting administration: Order food, communicate with vendors, manage vendor contracts and communication.

    Board/committee meeting preparation: Oversee preparation for meetings with multiple boards, including (but not limited to) the multi-Advisory Councils and Resource Development Committees. Prepare materials, agenda and meeting packets, attend meetings, and provide meeting recaps.

    Donor/volunteer communication: Provide communication with donors and volunteers via email, phone calls and printed materials.

    Data management: Analyze and report upon fundraising initiatives, major giving circles, volunteers, and other partnerships.

    Donor retention and stewardship: Manage donor recognition and additional donor acknowledgements.

    Serve as a liaison with donors regarding gift processing of major and planned gifts.

    Provide calendar management and administrative support to departmental leadership.

    Manage Resource Development departmental calendar.

    Travel for events and event preparation as needed.

    Other duties as assigned.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    High school diploma or GED equivalent

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    Bachelor's degree from an accredited higher education institution.

    Experience in customer success within a non-profit or resource development setting.

    SKILLS:

    Self-starter and the ability to multitask.

    Excellent organizational skills.

    Communicate effectively orally and in writing.

    Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.

    Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.

    Read, interpret, apply and explain rules regulations policies and procedures.

    Ability to consistently meet schedules and deadlines.

    Maintain confidentiality of organizational records.

    Work independently.

    Ability to exercise discretion and provide independent judgement.
