Job Description
We are seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join our team! You will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR department.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with recruiting and hiring efforts; which may include identifying employment needs; posting and monitoring job openings; screening applicants and processing applications.
- Maintain personnel records, in compliance with HR and DOT regulations
- Manage pre-employment drug screening process and verifications of employment
- Communicate all relevant information to employees and job applicants
- Assist with and maintain Accident logs.
- Assist with Open Enrollment
- Filing and administrative duties within the HR department.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in Human Resources
- General knowledge of labor and employment laws
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (bilingual - Spanish is a plus)
- Above average computer skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
