    Job Description

    The ECOMMERCE SALES MANAGER will report to the Sr. Director, eCommerce. This individual will be responsible for catalog growth across our brand portfolio, as well as drive promotion plans and execute new marketplace opportunities for eCommerce and Omni-Channel.  In addition, the eCommerce Sales Manager will deliver revenue targets at specialty online accounts and pursue new, online customer partnerships.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Develop and implement selling plans with current accounts to achieve growth targets and corporate goals
    • Identify and solicit new business opportunities with emerging eCommerce accounts and platforms
    • Manage weekly / monthly account communication
    • Allocate trade spend within approved budgets and maintain promotional system entries within company system / tools
    • Execute new product launches with planned promotional and marketing support at eCommerce and Omni-Channel accounts via a channel management strategy.
    • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain and Marketing teams on seasonal activations and new product launches
    • Audit and optimize product listings across brand and retailer portfolios
    • Analyze current business trends and identify improvements and risks
    • Control weekly / monthly customer metric reports, including sales and new item execution
    • Participate / Lead special projects and assignments, as required
    • Attend departmental/cross-functional meetings

    REQUIRED SKILLS

    • Working knowledge of marketplace retailing and online retailer portals (Walmart, Wayfair, etc).
    • Working knowledge of Content Syndication Platforms, ideally Salsify.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills.
    • Experience with detail-driven projects; preferably in a sales or marketing department.
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines.
    • Recommend revision to existing or new products and programs based upon market feedback and sales trends.
    • Manage merchandising content optimization and web analytics to drive growth and customer satisfaction.
    • High proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, V-lookup), PowerPoint and Word.
    • Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
    • SEO/SEM experience with eComm retailers.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
    • 3+ years of eCommerce experience, including 2+ years of experience with marketplace retailing.
    • Experience with Consumer Products.
    • Experience in Sales, Marketing, Merchandising or Customer facing roles.
