    Brainrider is looking for a tenacious writer who is organized, motivated and ready to join our fast-paced in house client team supporting one of the world's most well-known tech companies.  The Jr. Content Writer will be responsible for functional writing support and working with the team organizing and uploading existing content to various digital platforms.

    The ideal candidate is looking for an opportunity to learn and collaborate with a seasoned Marketing Team.  You must be proactive, detail-oriented, and can balance hands-on writing and editing with administrative tasks that support the team. For this role, you will need to be comfortable planning, writing and editing content for a broad range of topics, with the goal of continually improving our client’s work.  In previous roles, you have learned that you prefer and thrive in a flat, fast-moving organization that uses lightweight processes to have a huge impact. 

    Responsibilities

    • Work with Marketing Teams and our in-house creative department to draft functional messaging, including press releases, business announcements, and success stories for our clients, for internal and external audiences
    • Follow briefs and work on multiple projects simultaneously
    • Review and edit content & presentations based on feedback from leaders, PR, Legal, Brand operations and other parties around the company
    • Support teams content development and execution by organizing content for upload to various internal and external platforms
    • Identify throughlines for content deliverables and ways to scale content across teams
    • Brainstorm deck flow and build strong storylines for marketing collateral (presentations, playbooks, etc)
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Creative Writing or related field
    • 3+ years experience ghostwriting, and other forms of business-focused written and spoken communications with an emphasis on marketing and creative storytelling
    • Author of both short and long-form content
    • Project Management experience
    • Familiarity with managing content files
    • Knowledge of marketing and/or digital advertising preferred
    • Fast Learner, flexible, likes working in a fast-paced environment where the only constant is change
    • Expertise with Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Dropbox, Outlook and comfort with internal tools
