    THIS IS A FULL-TIME EMBEDDED POSITION WORKING 100% ON-SITE AT OUR CLIENT'S OFFICE IN NEW YORK.
 RELOCATION IS NOT PROVIDED. DUE TO COVID-19 GUIDELINES THIS ROLE IS 100% REMOTE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

    Brainrider is looking for an experienced writer who is passionate about storytelling, marketing, and online advertising strategy to join our client-embedded on-site team. This role will partner closely with Marketing Teams across North America and be responsible for creating measurable and scalable content for a variety of regional audiences. 

    Ideally you should be marketing savvy with a background in overseeing many moving pieces to produce break-through presentation content. Collaboration, clear effective communication, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams in a creative, entrepreneurial environment will be critical to success. You can write, publish, work autonomously and also be creative enough to concept new ideas. This position is fast-paced, and a working style that thrives under pressure will be a source of motivation and inspiration.  

    Responsibilities

    • Work with Marketing Teams and our in-house creative department to draft strategic messaging for Sales teams, our clients, for internal and external audiences
    • Write marketing narratives and webinar presentations to support our client’s sales and business audiences
    • Follow briefs and work on multiple projects simultaneously
    • Review and edit content & presentations based on feedback from leaders, PR, Legal, Brand operations and other parties around the company
    • Support Marketing strategies and identify and develop new and innovative ways of delivering against team mission, vision and culture
    • Identify throughlines for content deliverables and ways to scale content across teams
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Creative Writing or related field
    • 5+ years experience ghostwriting, and educationally inspired webinar scripts and other forms of business-focused written and spoken communications with an emphasis on marketing and creative storytelling
    • Author of both short and long-form content that has appeared on video, and/or in print
    • Experience working with graphic designers, event producers and marketing executives
    • Project Management experience
    • Expert knowledge of marketing and/or digital advertising preferred
    • Fast Learner, flexible, likes working in a fast-paced environment where the only constant is change
    • Expertise with Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Dropbox, Outlook and comfort with internal tools
