    About the Role:

    Join Blue Flame Credit Union as a Branch ACH Operations Specialist, where you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our members. This position is perfect for detail-oriented individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about helping others achieve their financial goals. The successful candidate should possess a working knowledge of Automated Clearing House, ATM and Debit Card processing, and general Accounting.

    Responsibilities:

    • Responding to all member communications whether in person or via email, phone calls, or Online Banking.
    • Processing EFT/ACH, Mastercard, Bill Pay, Share Drafts, Wire Transfers, Mobile Deposit Capture, Disputes and ATM/Debit Card Requests.
    • Processing Garnishments received from the State.
    • Processing Retiree Insurance files.
    • Oversee daily branch operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with policies.
    • Assist members with account inquiries, transactions, and service requests.
    • Train and mentor branch staff on operational procedures and member service standards.
    • Manage cash handling processes and maintain accurate financial records.
    • Opening and Closing Member Share Accounts and Certificates of Deposit.
    • Troubleshooting issues with online banking, bill pay products, Mastercard, and ATM/Debit Cards.
    • Balancing a Teller Drawer and assisting in balancing the Vault, TCR's, ATM & Coin Machine.
    • Support marketing initiatives to promote financial products and services.

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
    • 2+ years of experience in banking or credit union operations (preferred but not required).
    • Strong knowledge of financial products, services, and regulations.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and banking software systems.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Positive attitude and commitment to providing outstanding member service.
    • Credit, Drug Testing and Background Check Required.
