    Opportunity Overview:

    The Licensing Coordinator will support the Americas Brand Licensing and Partnerships team across all aspects of outbound licensing and collaborations to help extend Pop Mart's own IP's visibility and cultural relevance. This role ensures operational excellence across partner communications, product and marketing approvals, contract administration, and internal coordination. The ideal candidate has minimum 2 years of outbound licensing and/or brand collaboration experience for character IPs. In addition to working closely with external partners, internally, they will collaborate with various cross functional partners such as product development, marketing, legal, finance, including teams in China HQ.

    This is a full-time onsite role out of our Culver City, CA office.

    What You Will Achieve

    • Maintain contract trackers and monitor key dates, including launch timelines, royalty payments, and marketing deliverables
    • Maintain team documents and improve organizational systems for licensing operations
    • Coordinate with both internal and external partners to support key licensing launches, marketing approvals, and create recap reports
    • Set up partners in system, coordinate with Finance to track royalty reports and incoming payments; assist in resolving discrepancies and audit-related issues
    • Liaise with Legal to prepare and execute contractual documents for partners, such as new contracts, authorization letters, NDAs, amendments, or renewals
    • Track and organize IP assets and style guides for partners, and monitor development timelines and deliverables
    • Assist in building internal and external presentation decks, pitch materials, and seasonal updates
    • Obtain, track, and organize product samples
    • Research market trends and partnership opportunities, and surface findings to the broader team; assist with cold calling potential partners as assigned
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    What You Will Need

    • Minimum 2 years of experience in licensing, preferably within a major entertainment or character IP
      brand company

    • High proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel

    • Mandarin Chinese proficiency is a plus but not required

    • Basic Photoshop and Illustrator knowledge is a plus

    • Strong organizational skills; must be detail-oriented and adept at multi-tasking

    • Solid written and verbal communication skills

    • Clear communicator with experience presenting to external partners

    • Collaborative and able to work across time zones

    • Genuine interest and keen eye for identifying trends and brand collaborations that elevate brands

    Physical Requirements

    • Able to work in a fast-paced environment that may require quick movements and multitasking
    • Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a desk or workstation
    • Ability to use a computer, keyboard, mouse, and standard office equipment
    • Ability to communicate effectively in person, via phone, and electronically
    • Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, and reach within the office environment
    • Ability to lift and carry light items (up to 10–15 pounds) such as files, packages, or office supplies
    • Visual acuity sufficient to read printed materials and view a computer screen
