Join the largest coffee retail company in the country! This multinational chain is seeking a Brand Manager for the Design and Marketing Team.
In this role, you will lead the development of brand management, innovation, and marketing activities. Develops strategic assessments for brands/categories and manages the business against operating plans and budgets to achieve financial and business objectives.
Brand Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead brand management, innovation, and marketing initiatives by developing strategic assessments, managing operating plans and budgets, and driving performance against financial and business objectives.
- Serve as the lead within cross-functional packaging workstreams, guiding design feedback, refining creative direction, and collaborating with internal design teams to finalize packaging with leadership alignment.
- Partner with Insights, MARCOM, Legal, and Regulatory teams to develop research plans, ensure compliance approvals, and integrate consumer insights into packaging and marketing strategies.
- Manage packaging refresh initiatives by coordinating cross-functional transition plans, developing sales narratives for distribution partners, and minimizing inventory write-offs while accelerating speed-to-market.
- Support the execution of a 360° marketing plan for a major 2026 innovation launch by partnering with agencies and internal teams to deliver strategic campaigns on brief and on schedule.
- Develop and deliver data-driven design briefs for portfolio packaging refresh initiatives, incorporating consumer insights, competitive analysis, and enterprise considerations to guide design development, testing, and launch readiness.
Brand Manager Qualifications:
- 4+ years of marketing and brand management experience, preferably with larger national brands, including leadership in product or strategy development from conception to implementation.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (e.g., four years of U.S. military), Master’s degree a plus
- 4+ years of experience in advertising, marketing programs, and CPG packaging development, including partnership with internal design teams and external agencies
- Strong understanding of CPG data, retailer landscape, and consumer insights to inform brand and product strategies.
- Project and cross-functional leadership skills, with experience driving initiatives from concept to market.
- Excellent communication skills, both in-person and remote, facilitating collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
