    Job Description

    As the Brand Marketing Coordinator , you will serve as a core team member for consumer-focused marketing communications for NBC News brands (NBC Nightly News, Meet the Press, NBC News NOW, and NBC News digital platforms). This role supports the team responsible for strategic brand marketing activities including daily advertising and promotion, consumer events, and digital and cross-platform marketing. They will report into the Manager, Brand Marketing and will have the opportunity to work closely with the larger NBC News Marketing team.

    Responsibilities :

    • Support the Brand Marketing team (Vice President, Director, Sr. Manager and Manager) on the development and execution of daily consumer-focused marketing communications
    • Manage daily project status documents and communicate priorities and deliverables with the cross-functional team (including morning and end of day snapshot emails, creative deadlines, deliverable specs)
    • Work with Creative team to create and distribute daily on-air and social promotion graphics
    • Maintain an organized, up-to-date asset library and coordinate and distribute brand creative assets for internal and external partners
    • Manage requests from cross-company departments and partners (ad sales marketing, PR, digital, distribution partners) to create and distribute creative assets to be used in various channels for brand promotion
    • Support the Sr. Manager on local marketing efforts, including building and deploying daily email communications to local NBC station news teams
    • Monitor competitive marketing activity and provide regular reporting to the team
    • General administrative support (e.g., scheduling meetings), assist with organizing department activities, meetings, and presentations
    • Oversee the team’s NBC Page on specific projects
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • At least 2 years of relevant experience—internships and/or professional roles—in media organizations, advertising firms, or media agencies preferred
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
    • Must be willing to work outside of normal business hours (including weekends) to respond to breaking news or other timely promotional needs
    • Must be willing to attend occasional events, including early mornings and some weekends
    • Willing and able to work in NYC

    Additional Job Requirements:

    • Hybrid : This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
