WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Leading design and creative studio Brand New School is seeking 3D Animators for full-time roles at our NY studio. Our team is creative, energetic, and full of talented, intelligent artists. With ~60 employees across the United States, we are a tight community with the shared goal of making great work. 

The work we create is diverse in its execution, so you should be a similarly well-rounded Maya animator. If you excel at working on a team as well as independently, you'll be a great fit for this role at our studio. Our business is dynamic and creative, our ideal candidate is too.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong knowledge of Maya's animation toolset
• Good understanding of the principles of animation and physics
• Experience animating characters, shapes, and objects in a variety of styles
• Must be time-efficient, detail-oriented, and organized
• Ability to work well on a team, with structure and deadlines
• Ability to take creative direction and execute with perfection
• Strong technical problem-solving skills
• 2-year minimum production experience in commercials, film, or games
• Preferably, you have a good understanding of rigging and experience working in a production team environment
