    Brandfolder is looking for a talented and motivated Data Scientist to expand our impact as an established leader in Digital Asset Management. You will inspire the most recognizable brands in the world, including TripAdvisor and Slack, by building a product that surfaces strategic insights that increase brand engagement and enhance content curation. In this role, your contributions will enhance the Brand Intelligence suite of products offered on the Brandfolder platform, helping us deliver even better interactions for our customers.

    Who are we looking for? You have a solid foundation in applied statistics and can confidently design experiments, perform hypothesis testing, and train and evaluate regression and classification models, including multivariate analyses and time series methods. You are experienced at data wrangling, feature engineering, and building models in Python using industry-standard packages including statsmodels, scikit-learn, and pandas. You also have strong experience processing and querying data.

    What you'll do

    • Join a collaborative team of members focused on data, engineering, sales, marketing and customer experience folks in Denver
    • Embody the full-stack data scientist (model generation, model serving, etl, etc.), driving user experience through machine learning products and user facing analytics
    • Train and evaluate informative machine learning models that power the Brand Intelligence suite of products in the Brandfolder platform
    • Develop robust data and analysis pipelines for feature extraction, model building and model serving
    • Build and maintain production-grade code to surface machine-learning models to the user, including high- quality, maintainable, and reusable code in Python
    • Monitor, optimize and improve data quality and models
    • Contribute to best-in-class analytics patterns and practices as we grow
    • Become an integral contributor to the direction for the Brandfolder data science team

    What you'll need

    • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Operations Research or similar analytics discipline
    • At least 2 years of experience in a data science role and a Master's Degree or 2+ years relevant real world data science results
    • Solid understanding of statistical inference, regression and classification  
    • Experience building production machine learning applications
    • Statistical programming experience with Python packages including numpy, pandas, scikit-learn and matplotlib
    • Experience wrangling large data sets using Apache Spark
    • Strong skills in data mining and querying with SQL
    • Demonstrated  ability to explain results of data science analyses across a broad, multidisciplinary audience
    • Positive attitude and the adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong knack for picking up new tools and technologies, a desire to be continuously learning
    • The drive to take initiative and own high-impact projects from day one

    Bonus points for

    • Master's Degree in Statistics, Computer Science or similar analytics discipline
    • Experience building and deploying containers in a microservices architecture
    • Experience with workflow orchestration systems like Airflow
    • Experience with cloud ML services like AWS Sagemaker or Google MLE
    • Experience building ML models using Spark MLLib
    • Desire to influence and build a modern data architecture
    • Previous work experience in a startup-like environment
    • A growth mindset and passion for learning
