    JOB PURPOSE:

    Operation Managers are the drivers of our operational excellence and partnership with our clients, their brand, and their customers. This operational excellence and partnership are what sets us apart from other 3PLs.

    We are growing and scaling at a tremendous rate and looking for leaders who want to build and while continuing to provide the best experience for our clients and employees.     OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE

    • Support, mentor, and motivate your salaried and hourly workforce

    • Lead large-scope projects with site and regional impact

    • Build and execute productivity plans through forecast reviews, determining productivity requirements, and partnering with other Leaders to load balance

    • Monitor, manage and drive efficiencies through the use of data and KPI management

    • Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises

    • Collaborate with all support teams including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectives

    • Conduct weekly meetings and reviews with respective clients regarding performance and SLAs

     

    SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or related field, or 3-5 years relevant experience

    • Experience managing a team of 2+ salaried employees and up to 100 indirect employees

    • Experience in distribution functions of pick and pack, receiving, and value-added service operations

    • Strong familiarity and emphasis with regards to inventory integrity and quality through performing best practices

    • Experience scoping, leading, and implementing process improvements through: Lean process, Kaizen, and/or Six Sigma.

    • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and analytical skills

    • Excellent customer service skills, communication skills, and interpersonal skills

    • Track record of meeting or exceeding department performance goals

    • Self-starter with scrappy tool building experience
