Job Description
BrandMuscle is looking for a hard-working and motivated Media Intern for the media buying and integrated planning team. The Media Intern will help develop and execute media and event buys for well-known national brands. The Media Intern will be exposed to the fast-paced world of a technology-enabled local marketing solutions company. The ability to adapt to quickly changing deadlines is a must. The Media Intern will help tackle day-to-day projects and contribute during meetings and brainstorming sessions. The Media Intern must not only be able to conceptualize and voice ideas, but also productively receive and process feedback and coaching.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coding, entering, paying, and processing invoices against purchase orders
- Filing invoices, statements, and other vendor and payables documentation
- Entering new media orders in NetSuite software
- Processing payment for orders
- Timely posting of media payments
- Tracking purchase agreements, insertion orders, and invoices to ensure they match
- Working with BrandMuscle vendors to place, process, and track the status of local marketing programs
- Calling and researching local events and tracking details in our internal database
- Ensuring that insertion orders and creative materials are delivered to media partners as needed
- Some proofreading, including confirming specifications and copy before ads are sent to the vendors
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in progress in business, marketing, or a related area
- Adaptable to fluctuating work duties and responsibilities
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Strong ability to manage multiple tasks
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to receive feedback and make the appropriate changes
- Ability to work under pressure within a fast-paced environment, with always changing deadlines
