    Job Description

    Progressive, comprehensive restorative and aesthetic dental office is looking for a full-time Dental Laboratory Technician to join our team. Our office is state-of-the-art and utilizes Dentrix and digital radiography (VixWin, CT/PANO, 3 Shape Oral Scanner) to focus on aesthetic dentistry in a comfortable and nurturing spa-like atmosphere where patients can feel at home.

Dental Laboratory experience strongly preferred. A current MA Dental Assisting License is required.

    Responsibilities

    This position will be a full-time position consisting of 4 x 10hr. days, Tuesday – Friday, with hours from 7:00am – 6:00pm. Responsibilities will be primarily focused on providing in-house laboratory support to the dentist, including:

    · Fabricating temporary crowns, bridges & full arches

    · Fabricating essix retainers with or without acrylic teeth, bite guards, clench guards, deprogrammers, soft mouth guards & custom trays

    · Maintaining laboratory inventory & equipment & ordering supplies when necessary

    · Maintaining implant inventory

    · Pouring, dressing, trimming, mounting and pindexing models

    · Coordinating cases with outside labs, including accurately completing all lab slips & preparing cases for pickup, following up on case progress & return dates, and checking in incoming cases

    · Managing patient case record system

    · Preparing diagnostic & new patient models with accompanying paperwork for the doctor

    · Providing general laboratory support for all dental procedures

    This position will also serve as an member of the dental assisting team, providing support when needed to help the clinical day flow smoothly, including:

    · Welcoming & seating patients, ensuring a positive patient experience throughout the appointment

    · Setting up & breaking down operatories for all procedures

    · Assisting chairside for all dental procedures, including crowns & bridges, composite restorations, implants, extractions, root canals, dentures, taking impressions, and full-arch restorations

    · Independently collecting & entering diagnostic data for comprehensive exams, including x-rays, photos, impressions and bite registrations

    · Maintaining sterilization of all operatories, instruments & equipment within OSHA Infection Control Standards

    · Working with other clinical team members to ensure all tasks are completed safely & efficiently

    Job Type: Full-Time

    Salary: $27.00-$30.00 per hour

    Salary commensurate with experience
